Oriental Art is a quarterly journal devoted to Asian Art studies and Asian History of Art. Founded c.1948 in Oxford, UK by pioneering Asian art scholar Dr William Cohn, the publication continues from print to online in the present day and has research content archived since inception.

Over the decades, professors, museum curators, art historians and scholars worldwide have contributed articles to Oriental Art on their latest findings. Oriental Art publishes with a focus on the art of East Asia, India and Southeast Asia across all periods and forms. The journal maintains a system of peer review from recognised international Asian Art experts.

Audience

Oriental Art is valued by university, higher education and research libraries as well as public library systems worldwide. With developing interest in Asian art and culture, Oriental Art is increasingly popular with a devoted independent readership as well as by institutions.
