Severe asthma: A focus on diagnosis risk assessment and costs
There are many definitions for severe asthma. All definitions focus on individuals who primarily require large doses of therapy in an attempt to control their asthma. Although these patients are a minority of the asthma population as a whole, this subgroup represents a significant cost driver.
