Catalytic combustion as a means of controlling or eliminating unpleasant fumes from industrial processes has made considerable progress, and many air pollution problems are now being solved in this way. This article demonstrates the versatility of the method and gives some examples
of the success achieved when the control equipment is properly engineered.
