The National Institutes for food and drug Control (NIFDC) is founded in 1950, it is a subordinate agency of the State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA) and there are more than 50 departments and divisions within NIFDC. Information Center of National Institutes for Food and Drug Control, main responsibilities are undertaking the construction of the information technology, the network operation, the system management and other related work for the Institutes. It is also in charge of drawing up the annual publication plans and quality improvement plans and their implementation, assuming the program planning, manuscript source organization, manuscript examination and editing, taking the daily work of the magazine editorial board and management of the expert database, bearing the work of annual verification, filing, statistics, reporting, printing, distribution, marketing and advertising, undertaking other academic activities and in charging of other matters assigned by the center.
