Is the use of Digital Technologies (ICT) in the classroom a positive influence on student motivation and learning?
This research project will examine the role that Information and Communication Technology (ICT) plays in the contemporary classroom with particular emphasis on digital technologies as educational tools (aids for teaching and learning). This project will investigate the effectiveness
of ICT primarily in terms of student interest and motivation towards its utilisation, whilst also exploring how and when it is being used as well as the teacher satisfaction with its use, in order to evaluate and present a balanced reading on the role of ICT in teaching and learning.
