
A new Neomachilellus Wygodzinsky, 1953 (Microcoryphia: Meinertellidae) from Puerto Rico
A new species of Neomachilellus (Praeneomachilellus) bristletail (Meinertellidae: Microcoryphia) from Puerto Rico is described and compared with the closest fossil species Neomachilellus (Praeneomachilellus) dominicanus Sturm & Poinar, 1997 and
also with the known remaining species of this mostly Neotropical genus. Microcoryphia is reported from Puerto Rico for the first time.
