A new species of Neomachilellus (Praeneomachilellus) bristletail (Meinertellidae: Microcoryphia) from Puerto Rico is described and compared with the closest fossil species Neomachilellus (Praeneomachilellus) dominicanus Sturm & Poinar, 1997 and also with the known remaining species of this mostly Neotropical genus.
