Consciousness and Coincidence: Comments on Chalmers
In 'The Meta-Problem of Consciousness', David Chalmers briefly raises a problem about how the connection between consciousness and our verbal and other behaviour appears 'lucky'. I raise some questions about Chalmers' formulation of the problem. Then I develop an alternative formulation. Finally, I consider some responses, including illusionism about consciousness.
