Finding Mathematics in Brain Dynamics: Walter Freeman as an Applied Mathematician
Walter Jackson Freeman III is one of my heroes in the field of neuroscience. In this article, I would like to highlight his mathematical contributions to neuroscience, with a focus on his findings of chaotic behaviours in the olfactory system.
