The Endoscopic Treatment of the Temporomandibular Joint with Internal Disorders
The aim of the study is the evaluation of the clinical outcome and effectiveness of the arthroscopic procedures of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) in cases resistant to the conservative therapy. The monitored group consisted of 31 patients, who underwent the arthroscopy of the TMJ and have been followed up for 3 years. The followed up patients have underwent a MRI examination of TMJ. The authors evaluate the effectiveness of the treatment in relationship to the clinical picture, radiodiagnostical imaging methods and to the arthroscopy of the TMJ.
