Prediction of dissipatives mufflers efficiency applied to aircraft ventilation Prévision des performances de silencieux dissipatifs appliquée à la ventilation aéronautique

Nowadays, passive mufflers are commonly used to reduce ventilation noise. However, the pratical work conditions of these devices, here in aeronautic domain, involve new calculation mean for performance estimation of finite length dissipative mufflers. The previsional calculation is based on the modal theory development for cylindrical lined ducts, in the presence of a uniform air flow. The important point of the calculation is performed by the numerical resolution of transverse boundary conditions, from the normal acoustic impedance modelling of the absorbant structure. The realised testing stand gives us the fine analysis of the attenuation with an air flow, by measuring the insertion loss. This experimental study brings us a validation of the theoretical tendances.

L'utilisation des silencieux passifs dans la réduction des bruits de ventilation représente une technique couramment employée de nos jours. Toutefois, les conditions réelles de fonctionnement de ces dispositifs, ici dans le secteur aéronautique, nécessitent de nouveaux outils de calcul pour la modélisation et la prévision des performances de silencieux dissipatifs de longueur finie. La réalisation du modèle de calcul est basée sur le développement de la théorie modale pour des conduits absorbants cylindriques, en présence d'un écoulement d'air uniforme. Le point important du calcul réside dans la résolution numérique de l'équation des conditions aux limites transverses, à partir de la modélisation de l'impédance acoustique normale de la structure absorbante du silencieux. La fabrication d'un banc de mesure spécifique nous permet une analyse fine de l'atténuation en présence d'écoulement par la mesure de la perte par insertion. Cette étude expérimentale apporte une validation des tendances observées lors de la simulation.
