Flexural Vibration of a Circular Plate
In this paper a solution for the anti-symmetric vibration problem of a circular plate has been obtained by the superposition of six modes some of which are complex and imaginary and by ring-wise satisfaction of the boundary condition on the curved surface. Residual stresses at the curved surface and normal displacement at the flat surfaces have been numerically calculated for some permissible values of the aspect ratio for a comparison with the solution given by Potter and Leedham.
