In this report for the first time adiabatically measured characteristic lines of sound are studied and also discussed. When the isothermally measured lines are extrapolated to 100% concentration of the dissolved solid material the resulting velocity of sound agrees with that of the supercooled melt. The extrapolated value of the adiabatically measured characteristic lines meet the velocity of sound of an amorphous solid state. The proportion of both velocities is about 1.22 at the melting point and equals the corresponding proportion of metals. The identity between the sound volumes of isothermally and adiabatically measured characteristic lines of sound gives the result that the proportion of the extrapolated velocities of sound equals the third power proportion of the corresponding densities.", }
