This book intends to experience the life again of ten years ago. In twenty-first Century, the first ten years, Beijing has experienced the entanglements. In 2001, Beijing got the Olympic bid successfully, and China got the accession to WTO.... Chinese gate irreversibly open to the world. After the successful bid, we host the Olympic Games. In the past half century, Beijing realized the absence of city development -- lost the grand wall, even at the risk of losing the Imperial Palace▦▦It became the world's largest city at the same time as well as the most congested city. In 2004, the revision of engineering master plan started hugely ,which try to change the single center city structure of 1950's transplanting in Moscow. Beijing is followed by other Chinese cities. But the bulldozers, it still maintained a strong inertia, a thousand million fold contradiction. This year, Beijing's resident population exceeded 20000000 people. In the first quarter, the subway travels is more than 400,000,000 visitors, North Hutong Liang Sicheng, Lin Huiyin former residence was demolished, showing by the third national survey. In Beijing, a total number of 969 unmovable cultural relics disappeared▦▦All is collected by Wang Jun. He then wrote the book Ten Years .
