Teaching women pharmacy: London's Gordon Hall School of Pharmacy for Women, 1932
A photographic souvenir of the students and principals of the Gordon Hall School of Pharmacy for Women, London, visiting Parke, Davis & Co. Laboratories on 28 June 1932 provides a rare opportunity to research a cohort of female pharmacists and dispensers. Using the Pharmaceutical
Society's registers and the Society of Apothecaries' pass lists alongside other primary and secondary sources provides an insight into the biographies of these women and the school that they attended. However, there is much more research that could be undertaken to establish full details of
the women's careers and lives, and the comprehensive history of the school.
