abstract = "Abstract: Aplasia cutis congenita is a rare, sporadic congenital malformation characterized by skin defects, sometimes extending to the underlying bone. We report a case of a boy born with a large rhomboid scalp and skull defect measuring 8\texttimes12cm with no other anomalies. Conservative treatment led to the complete epithelization of the skin defect with secondary closure of the cranial vault without need for surgical intervention.",
