Is a Fellow a dinosaur? A description of routes to Fellowship
There are various ways of gaining the Fellowship of the Library Association (FLA) and these are outlined and discussed. The Fellowship is set in its historical context and recent developments including the work of the Board of Fellowship are explained. The author's views on the value, both personal and professional, of this distinction to its holders are indicated.
