Immigration and Cultural Rights: political recognition and cultural acceptance

Affiliations: Catherine Wihtol de Wenden is director of research at the CNRS (Centre d’Études et de Recherches Internationales). A political scientist and lawyer by training, she is an expert in international immigration. She teaches at the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris and has led numerous field surveys. She has also worked as a consultant for several international organizations (UNHCR, Council of Europe, European Commission, OECD). She is a member of the History Committee at the Cité nationale de l'histoire de l'immigration. Her recent publications include: La bourgeoisie.
