A Chaotic Approach for Secure Data Transfer Using Mobile Agents

Mobile Agent is a promising technology for transfer and processing of data in a distributed environment. The capabilities of autonomy, reduced network latency and dynamic adaptation make it suitable for usage in a network. They are prone to various threats which may pose a major threat to the security of the data being carried. Chaotic Cryptography is a less used approach in the Mobile Agent Systems to protect data. A mechanism is introduced based on chaotic cryptography and the ElGamal scheme to improve the security of the data carried by the Mobile Agents. The complexity of the hybridized model of chaotic cryptography with ElGamal scheme makes it less possible for attackers to gain authority over the data. The results have proved that the approach has improved the security of data.
