Toxicity of Metallic Oxides Nanoparticle Suspensions to a Freshwater Sludge Worm Tubifex tubifex Müller
Toxic effects of selected metallic oxides nanoparticles were studied using the short-term static bioassays. Nanoparticles were more toxic than comparable bulk metallic oxides. Freshwater sludge worm Tubifex tubifex can be used as suitable test model for nanoecotoxicological studies
in future studies.
