abstract = "This study examines the factors affecting students satisfaction in hybrid learning approach (HLA). An explanatory sequential design was utilized to examine the responses of the 394 students who were enrolled in a hybrid-designed course. The regular face-to-face (FTF) instruction
was integrated with various online tasks using online media such as social learning platform, social media, wiki, email, and chats. All the determinants understudy namely motivation, social presence, engagement, attitude, challenges, and engagement, revealed significant relationship towards
satisfaction; however, challenges and engagement were eliminated as predictors in the regression model. The qualitative results of this study substantiate the quantitative findings, leading to a more in-depth analysis on factors that lead towards satisfaction. Conclusively, students were satisfied
in HLA because of its novelty and unique features which increase their motivation to participate. Amidst all the challenges that theyve encountered, their self-determination affect their disposition, motivation, and creativity. Also, the social presence of the instructor triggers motivation
and satisfaction; and a well-designed hybrid course satisfies students learning experiences.",
