First, one type has two blades positioned respectively on the top and the bottom of a shaft with the blade of a plate shape being installed to rotate perpendicularly to the flow direction. The other type consists of a structure where 5 blades are bent at a right angle in mutually different directions on a disk. Flow characteristics for these 2 types of fans were mutually compared. For the experimental variables, flow rate, flow pattern, flow pressure, etc. of the fluid as a function of changes in shaft revolution were obtained by a numerical analysis through computer simulation. According to the results, it could be affirmed that the impeller having 5 blades on a disk had good agitation of the fluid. This result will be utilized for the design variable for industrial agitators.", }
