Nano Particle Effects on Magneto Optic Ferrite Thin Films for Variable Multiplexer/Demultiplexer Applications in Optical Communications
This paper inspects via numerical calculations the effects of Gold (Au) nano particle dopants at various volumes on thin film Nickel (Ni) magneto optic material. This paper shows the effects of the nano particles on the refractive index, which as a result affect the Verdet constant
and the diffraction angle. Lastly, the total deflection angles achieved at each stage of a two dimensional array are depicted.
