Salivary oncocytic masses as a group are rare, and there are few reported cases of benign nodular oncocytosis. Because most of these cases are published in the pathology literature and few include imaging, radiologists may not be familiar with this entity. We present a case of benign nodular oncocytosis of the parotid gland, discuss the imaging appearance and pathologic features, and review the characteristics that distinguish this entity from other diagnostic considerations.
