
Intelligent Ship Arrangement Passage Variable Lattice Network Studies and Results
The Intelligent Ship Arrangements (ISA) system, under development at the University of Michigan, is a Leading Edge Architecture for Prototyping System compatible software system that assists the designer in developing rationally based arrangements that satisfy the design specific
needs as well as general Navy requirements and standard practices to the maximum extent practicable. This software system is intended to be used following or as a latter part of Advanced Ship and Submarine Evaluation Tool synthesis. Recent improvements to the current ISA application are discussed.
The issues covered are: modifications to the objective function and results from a newly developed ISA demonstration code.
