The Greenville Treaty Line
This paper discusses the creation of one of Ohio's most prominent surveyed lines; "The Greenville Treaty Line." The reader will learn a little about the history of the great state from which this boundary line originated. They will obtain a full understanding of the significance of this surveyed border and how through its formation, a peace accord between the native Americans and the white settlers was designed which saved many lives and ended the Northwest Indian War.
