Activating subscriptions

Ingenta Connect offers one of the most comprehensive collections of academic and professional research articles online - some 4.2 million articles from 10,700 publications. Ingenta Connect provides access to the full text of online articles, through online purchase of individual articles, or through subscriptions to publications.

Browse Ingenta Connect to view the publications available. If you have not already done so, you will need to register your institution in order to activate your subscriptions. A video guide to doing this is here.

Online Activation

Once you have registered your institution, you can activate your subscriptions at any time. Sign in with your administrator user name and password, and you will be provided with a menu of administration options. Select Set up subscriptions and enter the subscription number supplied by the publisher. This number can be found on mailing labels or invoices. Please contact the publisher if you are unsure of your subscription number. If you purchase subscriptions through an agent see the instructions below.

Requests for access will be validated and confirmation will be emailed to you at the address with which you registered.

Alternatively, you can avoid the administrative burden of manually requesting access to your subscriptions by taking advantage of our unique relationship with subscription agents. We have arranged for subscription agents to activate access on your behalf to subscriptions you have purchased through their services. Simply advise your subscription agent of your Ingenta Connect customer ID and they will work directly with us to enable your online access. Library Members or Ingenta Connect Complete subscribers can initiate an activation request to their agent from the administrator's home page using the option "Set up subscriptions through your subscription agent"
