Selection of a Lining Material for Anechoic Water Tank

It is often desired that the ultrasonic waves incident on walls of a water tank are not reflected back. Present work reports on the most suitable material that can be used as lining on the inside walls such that the ultrasonic waves are not reflected. Both, the back scattered signal as well as the specularly reflected signal have been studied.
