Average Surface Temperatures of the Western North Atlantic
This paper presents 12 charts showing the average monthly surface temperatures of the Western North Atlantic. Also included are four charts showing seasonal averages and one chart which shows the average yearly range of temperature. The basic circulation pattern and the temperature
regime are discussed on the basis of the surface temperature distribution. Some comparisons are made with average surface temperature charts previously published.
