Guest Editorial: Old Childbirth Educators Never Die … They Just Labor Away
Teaching childbirth education classes year after year can become monotonous or stale for some educators. Consequently, their students may also become bored. Rejuvinating one's professional self takes effort; however, the results are a renewed sense of purpose and a more exhilarating
atmosphere in class.

Affiliations: ANN TUMBLIN has a degree in education and has been a Lamaze International Certified Childbirth Educator for over 20 years, teaching both independently and for hospitals. She is a certified doula and a DONA-approved doula trainer. She is a faculty member of Wake Forest University School of Medicine's Passion for Birth's Lamaze International Education Program and a member of the Lamaze International Education Council.
