Transmission property of spacetime transformation determines possible forms of coordinate transformations
In special relativity, one property related to the principle of relativity is stressed: If the spacetime transformation between the first and second inertial reference frames and that between the second and third ones has the same form, the spacetime transformation between the first
and third inertial reference frames will be in the same form too. This is the transmission property of spacetime transformation. It is just this property that determines the possible form of spacetime transformation.
