New records of Phallales from Paraguay
Four phalloid fungal species collected in the Central Department are reported for the first time from Paraguay: Clathrus columnatus, Itajahya galericulata, I. rosea, and Mutinus argentinus. Macro- and microscopic features are described for each species and
photographs of fresh basidiomata are also provided. Additional comments address species distribution and taxonomy.
