Tretolylea, a new genus from the Brazilian semiarid region
Tretolylea pleiomorpha gen. & sp. nov. is described and illustrated. It is characterized by inconspicuous prostrate (or decumbent) brown multi-branched conidiophores, tretic conidiogenous cells, blastocatenate cylindrical to oblong euseptate brown conidia, and a Phialophora-like
synanamorph that arises from the same assimilative hyphae and conidia.
