The first record of Hebeloma vinosophyllum (Strophariaceae) in Southeast Asia
Basidiomata of a Hebeloma sp. were collected from two urea-plots in a pine (Pinus kesiya) forest, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province, Vietnam. Based on morphology, molecular phylogeny, and mating compatibility, the specimens were identified as Hebeloma vinosophyllum.
This is the first record of H. vinosophyllum in Southeast Asia and of H. vinosophyllum occurring in P. kesiya forests, one of two dominant pines in Southeast Asia.
