Acrogenospora hainanensis sp. nov. and new records of microfungi from southern China
Acrogenospora hainanensis is described and illustrated from specimens collected on dead branches in Hainan Province, China. The fungus is characterized by terminal, monoblastic, percurrently extending conidiogenous cells with solitary, spherical or subspherical, non-septate and
relatively small conidia. Acrogenospora gigantospora, Nakataea fusispora, and Pseudospiropes costaricensis are newly recorded from China.
