A new hitherto undescribed anamorphic dematiaceous hyphomycetous genus with monoblastic, integrated conidiogenous cells producing solitary, doliiform, obpyriform, dictyoseptate, apiculate, conidia collected on dead twigs in a forest near Darakonda, Andhra Pradesh, India is described as Manoharachariella gen. nov.
