Taxonomic studies of Corynespora from Hainan, China
Four new species of Corynespora were found during a continuing survey of anamorphic fungi in tropical areas of Hainan province, China. The new species, C. beilschmiediae, C. cassiae, C. fici-benjaminae, and C. lasianthi, occurred on the hosts Beilschmiedia
intermedia, Cassia surattensis, Ficus benjamina, and Lasianthus chinensis, respectively. They are described, illustrated and compared with closely related taxa.
