Phyllachora caricis-jaluensis sp. nov. on Carex jaluensis (Cyperaceae) is reported. Latin diagnosis and illustration of the new species are provided. The type specimen is deposited in the Herbarium Mycologicum Universitatis Agriculturalis Boreali-Occientalis (HMUABO).
