Effects of Structural Sizes on the Injection Performances of Piezoelectric Micro-jet
The injection performances of a general piezoelectric micro-jet are analyzed in this paper. The micro-jet can operate in the first order mode and the fourth order mode, which proves that the micro-jet can work at a higher frequency and lower frequency for different applications. The frequency response curves of the acoustic pressure and particle velocity at the nozzle of the micro-jet with different structural sizes are obtained and the influences of the main structure sizes are analyzed. The influences of structure sizes to the resonance frequencies of the piezoelectric vibrator are studied, and the way to adjust the resonance frequencies is given. In order to get better injection performance in different application conditions, the suggestions on structure sizes are given according to the discussions of the results.
