Open Access Analysis Method for Ti:LiNbO3 Acoustic Channel Waveguide on LiNbO3 Substrate

A novel analysis approach based on transverse resonance method (TRM) is presented for Ti:LINbO3 acoustical channel waveguide on LiNbO3 substrate. In this paper, we give how to construct the equivalent circuit of Ti:LiNbO3 acoustical channel waveguide and the equivalent circuit of acoustical directional coupler with constant gap formed by Ti:LiNbO3 acoustical channel waveguide. And respective dispersion equations are deduced from the given equivalent circuits. The results show that this analysis approach is effective, simple and convenient.
