Zur Schallpegelverteilung in Musiktheatern im Nah- und Fernfeld einer ausgedehnten Schallquelle

Sound level measurements are reported in which a loudspeaker array of the size of an orchestra was used as a sound source in three very different theatres. In addition to the audience seating area, levels were also measured in the middle of the orchestra platform for various positions of the plane horizontal sound source in both the orchestra pit and on the stage. Acoustic feedback of the room, at a place in the middle of the orchestra, illustrated here by the increase of sound level compared to free field conditions, is considerable, particularly when the sound source is placed in the orchestra pit.

Zusammenfassung

Es werden Schallpegelmessungen in 3 sehr unterschiedlichen Theatern mitgeteilt, wobei als Schallquelle eine Lautsprecheranordnung von der Größe eines Orchesters benutzt wurde. Außer auf Zuhörerplätzen wurden die Pegel auch mitten im Orchesterbereich gemessen, und zwar für Positionierung der flächenhaften Schallquelle im Orchestergraben und auf der Bühne. Die akustische Rückwirkung des Raumes auf einen Ort mitten im Orchester, hier ablesbar aus der Schallpegelerhöhung gegenüber Freifeldbedingungen, ist erheblich, insbesondere bei Plazierung der Schallstrahler im Orchestergraben.

On présente des mesures de pression acoustique effectuées dans trois thé âtres très différents, pour lesquels les sources sonores utilisées étaient une distribution de haut-parleurs couvrant les dimensions d'un orchestre. Les mesures de pression ont été faites non seulement à l'emplacement des auditeurs mais également à celui de l'orchestre, les sources étant disposées dans la fosse d'orchestre et sur la scène. L'influence des caractéristiques acoustiques de la salle sur le champ au milieu de l'orchestre est très importante, comme on peut le voir dans le rehaussement de la pression acoustique par rapport aux conditions de champ libre, surtout lorsque les sources sonores sont placées dans la fosse d'orchestre.
