The far-field, axial frequency response of loudspeaker baffles of the surface-source, concentric, circular type (SCCB) were calculated by the doublet model theory of surface-source baffles in Part I. The other quantities characteristic of that theory were calculated also. All the calculations were non-approximate, regular ones. Thus the regular calculation of the general theory is established for this particular type of baffle. The classified patterns of the response were shown effectively by using the values of diaphragm radius determined by an approximate, principal- part theory in Part II. The usefulness of the principal part theory is now also established by the present regular, numerical calculations. The pattern of the quantities remaining unexplained in Part II are explained by analytical calculations here.

Zusammenfassung

Die axiale Frequenzübertragung im Fernfeld von konzentrischen und kreisförmigen Lautsprecherschallwänden wurde mit Hilfe des Dublett-Modells in Teil I berechnet, ebenso die übrigen Größen dieser Theorie. Alle Berechnungen sind exakt, d.h. nicht angenähert, bestehen also auf einer exakten Anwendung der allgemeinen Theorie auf den besonderen Schallschirmtyp. Der typische Verlauf der Übertragungsfunktion bestimmt sich nach einer Näherungstheorie (Teil II) aus dem Membranradius. Die Zweckmäß dieser Theorie wird durch die vorliegenden numerischen Berechnungen nachgewiesen. Der Verlauf von Größen, die im zweiten Teil Unerklärt bleiben mußten, wird durch die analytischen Berechnungen in dieser Arbeit erklärt.

La réponse axiale en fréquence relative aux champs lointains, ainsi que les autres grandeurs relevant de notre théorie du modèle à doublets, ont étécalculées dans la première partie de cette série d'articles pour le cas des baffles de haut-parleurs du type circulaire concentrique à la source surfacique (type SCCB). Tous ces calculs étaient réguliers et sans approximations, établissant ainsi le processus des calculs dans notre théorie générate. Puis on a obtenu, en deuxième partie, les diagrammes de réponse en utilisant les valeurs du rayon du diaphragme qu'on déterminait au moyen d'une théorie approchée utilisant les parties principales. On légitime ici l'emploi d'une théorie aux parties principales par des calculs numériques à enchaînements réguliers. Des calculs analytiques rendent compte également de particularités restées inexpliquées dans les exposés précédents.
