Acoustics and Broadcasting (Broadcasting of Acoustics)

A review is given of the change in importance attributed to room-acoustics in sound- and television broadcasting. It has been shown that the improvements in electro-acoustics gave rise to special emphasis on all aspects of room-acoustics even beyond the phenomena feasible under normal conditions; it might be expected that these effects will have some influence on the design of future concert halls.
