Axial geführte Oberflächenwellen an Zylindern mit komplexer Impedanz
The propagation constants of the surface waves near the surface of a cylinder with complex impedance are computed. The equations lead to a limited range in the impedance plane for the existence of the surface waves. Approximations for the construction of the solutions are given. The
input impedance of an acoustic radial resonator is computed and, finally, the measuring results with a disk-loaded rod are compared with the theory.
