The high frequency echo structure of some simple body shapes
The echo structure and the backscattering cross section are calculated for each of several rigid bodies of simple shape. The calculations are based on the results of a companion paper which elucidated the primary echo formation mechanism applicable when high frequency acoustic waves
(under C. W. or pulse conditions) are scattered by a rigid body immersed in an ideal, fluid medium.
