Exact Solutions for Motions of Second Grade Fluids Induced by an Infinite Cylinder that Applies Arbitrary Shear Stresses to Fluid
General solutions corresponding to motions of second grade fluids between two infinite circular cylinders are established. The motion of the fluid is due to the inner cylinder that applies arbitrary longitudinal or rotational shear stresses to the fluid. The solutions that have been
obtained satisfy all imposed initial and boundary conditions and can easily be reduced to similar solutions for Newtonian fluids. They can be used to give known solutions from the literature or to develop new exact solutions of this type. Furthermore, in view of an important remark regarding
the longitudinal shear stress, new exact solutions can be obtained for motions through an infinite circular cylinder.
