Study on Preparation and Antibacterial Properties of A-Type Silver-Loaded Zeolite

Different conditions for preparing A-type silver-loaded zeolite antibacterial agent were designed, and their antibacterial properties to Escherichia coli were studied. The results show that when the concentration of AgNO3 is 0.1 mol/L, the pH of reaction solution is 6–8, the temperature, the time and the speed of agitation is 70 °C, 3 h and 300 r/min, respectively, the effect of antibacterial agent on Escherichia coli is excellent. What is more, when bacterial suspension is contacted with antibacterial agent for 2 h, the inhibition rate is up to 100%.
