An intelligent method called Hierarchical Fuzzy Sliding Parallel Distributed Compensation (HFS-PDC) control is developed in this paper to deal with the nonlinear systems subjected to bounded disturbances. This HFS-PDC controller is based on Fuzzy Sliding Parallel Distributed Compensation (FS-PDC) control to propose a new hierarchical idea to combine several FS-PDCs to deal with nonlinear systems. In the design of HFS-PDC, some combining factors are used to combine every FS-PDCs by means of the hierarchical structure so as to achieve favorable performance with guaranteed stability. The simulation results of this HFS-PDC controller demonstrate that the performance and robustness are better than that with FS-PDC Control.
