Abstract:

The activity level in water-related environmental law was relatively stable in 2012. Environmental groups were claiming success in some 2012 Congressional elections (Eilperin, 2012e.) The Administration's environmental agenda was, however, heavily weighted towards air pollutants rather than water issues (Eilperin, 2012c). In December, EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson announced that she was stepping down (Eilperin, 2012f).
