Structured Social Networking: Engaging Staff for Recruitment, Retention, and Knowledge Transfer
Abstract:As social networking continues to permeate through daily activities, many companies struggle with creating a strategy to embed social-like tools in the enterprise. MWH has taken a structured approach to social networking, referred to as “knowledge networking”. Knowledge networking provides benefits for employees, the company, and MWH clients. It is enabled through a combination of cultural changes and people-centric activities alongside enabling technologies to help make knowledge collaboration easy across organizational and geographic boundaries.
