Case Studies in Bioenergy Deployment
Abstract:Biogas contains a number of contaminants which have negative effects on machinery and the environment. Gaseous fuel specifications from suppliers cannot be met without gas cleaning. Emissions from the combustion of dirty gas can violate site permits. This paper examines the cost–benefit relationship for cleaning biogas and demonstrates that a well designed biogas cleaning system offers a high return on investment.
